The Dome of Science - Adjustable Reef

The Dome of Science (sometimes known as the Versareef) is a phenomenal invention for surfers - soft to the touch by surfers in 2 foot of water under a barrel but hard to the waves. This is the ultimate combination to take risks and enjoy extreme surfing without the sharp coral or hard rocks.

The Dome of Science (D. Sci.) is a fully adjustable dome-like reef in the pool. The waves can be breaking left and solid one day, and then 1 hour later after reef adjustment breaking right and soft. The D. Sci. is the product that allows you to change the pool to endless combinations of different types of waves from beach breaks to Indo barrels and Hawaiian thickness.

Both the Dome of Science and the "Surf Machine" Wave Generators are hooked up to the same computer at the control centre so your staff can vary the two in synchrony and in accordance with our operational training programs. All adjustments are fully automated and controlled by computer.

The Dome of Science was proven at full scale in Surfparks' Orlando test pool. The next generation, designed for durability and commercialization, remains under wraps until the next full-sized pool opens. Surf Pools Ltd provides strong warranties and guarantees on all their products.
