The Surf Machine - Wave Generator

Without a wave generator capable of producing high-quality waves, you will never get perfection in the pool. A novel, high-tech wave generator has been developed in the Surf Pools Ltd laboratory. Key operational improvements were made using a computerised system capable of controlling the precise movement of the water and creating everything from fat to fast and heavy waves.

We've taken the simple air-injected caisson wave generator and brought it into the 21st century with hydraulic rams and computers that precisely control every movement. The result is perfect waves off the generator every time and the ability to vary the waves to suit the mood in the pool … peeling, barreling, soft close-outs etc.

Named the  "Surf Machine", it pushes out endless waves for a new generation of surfing pools. We discovered what type of generated wave will produce the best heavy barrels in a pool and how to match the wave to the reef shape and how to change the tempo in the pool to get the best and cleanest waves.
